My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT with a strong focus on emotional safety and accountability.
I work by combining psychological insight, behavioural structure, and relational support — helping clients not only understand their challenges but actively build healthier patterns.
My role is to guide, challenge when needed, and support without enabling — ensuring long-term recovery rather than temporary relief.
Every session is held within a framework of unconditional positive regard, professional boundaries, and goal-oriented structure. Clients are met with empathy — but also with clear, honest guidance that supports accountability and growth.
Assessment is ongoing, not one-time — treatment plans are regularly reviewed and adapted to meet the client’s evolving needs. Family involvement is encouraged where appropriate, recognising that recovery does not happen in isolation.
The foundation of this work is trust — built through consistency, confidentiality, and a genuine commitment to each individual’s long-term wellbeing over short-term comfort.
